Cousins at Play

Last week, Aunt Becky and Cousin Layla visited for a few days. Aunt Becky watched Layla and Daniel while Sofia had her scope. Unfortunately, due to an active infection and pseudomonas, Sofia's airway was inflamed. So we need to wait again until the inflammation goes down before they do another scope.

I love cherries!

It isn't just lemons anymore. Daniel seems to like all fruit or in general anything healthy.

Fruit Lover

Daniel is a fruit lover. It turns out this includes lemons! Last night at dinner, he was fussing and pointing. We couldn't figure out what he wanted until Grandma handed him the lemon, which he actually enjoyed. He had to borrow his sister's bib because the ones Mommy ordered for him haven't arrived yet.

Cooking

Mommy watched both kids on Friday for a time and tried to entertain them while cooking dinner. They were very interested in the food prep activity - for about 10 minutes....

Museum!

The heat wave is finally over so Daddy and Daniel went to the children's museum today. He didn't like most of the exhibits but loved the water learning area. Despite his little blue smock he still managed to get very wet!

Storytime

Our nightly bedtime ritual used to be that the nurses read to Sofia and Daddy read to Daniel. Now that Sofia is cruising, she comes over the minute she hears Daddy reading a book. Sometimes it's a battle for his attention but they both enjoy the stories.

Happy 4th!

We're having lots of guests come by for the 4th since Sofia still isn't able to travel that well. No nurse again today but it should be ok since it will be a hot and lazy Independence Day!

Sofia has been a bad girl and not wearing her glasses. We've now gotten her new ones with a new prescription. She's wearing them a bit more... but needs to wear them a LOT more!

Also she's up to about 4 hours a day on her Passy. Daddy wants to double this or more by the time she has her scoping on the 20th.
