Big Girl Bath

The ceiling in our kitchen was leaking yesterday as our gutters were packed with ice. We had to have them cleaned out but in the meantime Sofia needed a bath so we took the opportunity to try her upstairs in the tub.

Here she is having her first big girl bath. She loved it and was playing in the water in no time!

Snow Again!

Well, we survived our first week with less nursing care for Sofia (our hours were cut down as of the first of the year). And to top it off, we had almost 8 inches of snow on Friday. Here's Sofia looking out the window at the snow. She has an ear infection and the ear drops didn't seem to do the trick so we are starting antibiotics. She still managed to take 26 steps for Grandma the other day too.

Yesterday's Fun

Daniel decorating his gingerbread man (he didn't eat any of it of course, but did try an MandM) and Sofia using her walker (provided by her physical therapist) to cruise around the house:

Santa

On Friday morning, Sofia and Daniel visited with Santa at their Birth to Three agency (early intervention). They enjoyed the holiday music and weren't too scared to sit on Santa's lap, although Sofia was nervous when he let out a "ho ho ho".

Ouch

Daniel is sporting his first big boo boo. He tried to climb on the coffee table, slipped and bumped his chin. A big scrape/scab can now be seen.

Sofia is taking more and more steps. She's up to 12! We caught some on video...

plus extra bonus footage of her celebrating afterwards (well, sort of)...
