What more snow?

Yes.

Although it's a mini-snow compared to what we've seen so far this year. Kids are doing well. Sofia is walking all over the house and seems fully recovered from her spate of colds. Daniel still seems a bit sore sometimes due to his surgery but otherwise is happy. All of the kids are happy that their dad is home today but not so happy that their Granddaddy has been sick himself and hope he gets better soon!

Daniel is back and recovering

Daniel had some surgery today to finally repair his hydrocele. The surgeon thought a hernia might develop on the other side as well so he fixed that up too. Daniel is on some painkillers and tylenol/motrin and mostly is keeping his spirits up, but is obviously still recovering and not himself.

Napping on the couch

Daniel wasn't feeling too well today so he woke up in the middle of his nap. He fell back asleep downstairs on the couch.



And in other news it is raining. At least it is better than more snow!

Sofia made sure Daniel ate all his cheerios yesterday.

Stuck Inside Again

Another snow day in CT! Sofia and Daniel got to watch three Sesame Streets this morning.

Big Girl Bath

The ceiling in our kitchen was leaking yesterday as our gutters were packed with ice. We had to have them cleaned out but in the meantime Sofia needed a bath so we took the opportunity to try her upstairs in the tub.

Here she is having her first big girl bath. She loved it and was playing in the water in no time!

Snow Again!

Well, we survived our first week with less nursing care for Sofia (our hours were cut down as of the first of the year). And to top it off, we had almost 8 inches of snow on Friday. Here's Sofia looking out the window at the snow. She has an ear infection and the ear drops didn't seem to do the trick so we are starting antibiotics. She still managed to take 26 steps for Grandma the other day too.
