Breakfast with Elmo
Mommy and Daddy took the kids to a pancake breakfast with Elmo on Sunday. Daniel was a little afraid of the red monster but Sofia was happy enough to stand next to him for a picture. She was a little under the weather after a stomach bug hit her on Saturday. Not too many pancakes were consumed by the Yang children but they did have fun listening to the music and stories.

I think Elmo's scary, too...he's bigger than I imagined! But the kids...cuter than ever.

Layla won't eat pancakes. I have literally chased her around the house with syrup on a spoon, pleading with her to just TRY it.
Some day when I think she's more adventurous, I am going to try tie-dye pancakes like I saw a friend do. A few drops of food coloring swirled in the batter. Yum!
