It's a Boy!
So it turns out that Truffle, our cat, whom we thought was female, is actually male. The vet said it's very hard to tell with fluffy cats, but it was still surprising, given the fact that we brought the cat to the vet last year (a different doctor evaluated our feline). We think he's taking it well and forgives us.

Wow! I have followed your blog sporadically since almost the start, but cannot resist commenting here - we have a cat that looks exactly the same, and we too thought he was a she! We named her Luna, and then renamed him Judy Johnson (after the Negro league ballplayer of the same name - actually William Julius Johnson).

Anyway - you and your gang are terrific, and we've been rooting for you all along. Your children are beautiful, and your blog is great. Keep up the great work and congrats on the new addition!
