The kids are all about the same, and no news is good news. They are continuing to have issues with their glucose and electrolyte levels as they are peeing all of the stuff the nurses are putting in. The Drs said this was because their kidneys aren't fully developed and that this is normal. Sofia is still breathing great and boys still have their tubes but are breathing room air which is good. All three are now getting just a little bit of Mom's milk.

Hey Ted & Christie, Thanks for the blogs. We can relate to what you are going through. Remember that Em and Cait were preemies and we in the hospital for what seemed like an eternity. But it was the best place for them because the neonatologists are amazing. Talk to Raymond and tell him that even though Sophia keeps wanting all the attention with her loud cries...that he won't be overshadowed by such a strongwilled big sister! You tell him to keep fighting. He will love to hear your voice. Give those sweet, beautiful babies our love.

Hi Ted & Christie, Congratulations your three little miracles! They are beautiful. My husband Kirk & I welcomed our twin girls Hanna & Rachel at 25 weeks gestation over 7 years ago. It was a long journey, but we're so very happy to say the girls are in 2nd grade and doing amazingly well despite their early beginning. Talk to your sweet babes, & touch them (if they tolerate). They know you are there, and can feel your love. Sophia, Daniel, & Raymond, along with Mommy & Daddy will be in our prayers for strength, and healing. Though our NICU journey was 7 years ago, I remember it as if it were yesterday. Feel free to contact me anytime if you should need to talk, or just connect with another NICU Mom.

Thank you for the baby news and welcome to your three little miracles! Christie, I hope you are feeling better and if you ever need to talk, call me. I can't imagine what you are going through, but I know what it is like to see your baby (in your case babies!) in the hospital, hooked up to machines, etc. and you feeling helpless is so many ways. Just keep the faith and stay positive, though I know it's much easier said than done. We will keep praying for Sofia, Daniel and Raymond and we send big hugs your way.
