Eye Surgery
Daniel does need laser eye surgery to reduce the chances of detached retinas in both eyes. The surgery is scheduled for today. Our worry, besides his eyes, is that he will have to be intubated for the surgery. We hope the extubation is only a matter of hours afterward but will have to wait and see. Mommy and Daddy will visit after the surgery.

Oh I am so sorry that he has to have the surgery. I'll be thinking of you guys and Daniel today. He has been breathing so well that I hope the breathing tube can come right out.

i am so sorry to hear that he has to have the surgery. intubation was always my biggest fear with james' surgery as well, but he pulled through it like a champ, and i am sure daniel will too. i will say some extra prayers for him today!
