will start fortifying Sofia's meals tomorrow.
Today was a better breathing day for both. They received laseks again
which seemed to help the fluid in their lungs. Sofia tolerated
another wean on the ventilator settings. Daniel's desats were fewer
and less severe. He seemed happy at his current settings. And both
of them breathed more frequently on their own today.
Mommy kangarooed with Sofia for a while today too. Happy 4 weeks old!

Sofia and Daniel, In four weeks your daily struggles have changed our lives. We are overjoyed that you have reached this milestone and will continue to grow on Mom's milk. Won't be too long and you will be piecing on one of granddaddy's ribs with homemade barbeque sauce. Love, Grandmommie and granddaddy.
Wow -- I can't believe it's been four weeks! Glad to hear they're off the IVs :)
